All members of the Beacon school community are invited to attend our first PTA Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee meetings of the year:
January 4, 2023: Monthly DEI Committee Meeting (6PM, Zoom). Join us for updates on
the continuing work of advancing diversity, equity and inclusion in our school community. All are welcome, and newcomers encouraged to attend!
January 11, 2023: DEI Multimedia Club (6PM, Zoom).
Join us for our kick-off conversation — a discussion of the podcast Keeping Score, a co-production of WNYC Studios and The Bell. “Keeping Score” is a four-part series that tells the story of a year inside a divided Brooklyn school building trying to unite through sports.
